Gerard Nolan, our Assistant General Manager, Head of Operations has been with Certis Security Australia for five years. He started as State Manager for Queensland and Northern Territory following a background in the Australian Army and in Facilities Services.
Gerard has been a recipient of the diverse career growth opportunities that Certis Security Australia offers. Following his Brisbane-based role covering Queensland and Northern Territory, Gerard moved to Sydney with his family to assume the position of State Manager New South Wales in 2018. This year, Gerard has been promoted to his latest role and is responsible for the management and oversight of our Protective Services operations in Australia.

In my new role, I am deeply committed to continually harnessing Certis’ strong physical security heritage and technological expertise to help deliver greater value and competitive advantage to our customers all across Australia.”
With the recent deployment of the Business Operations Support System (BOSS) throughout Australia, Gerard looks forward to growing the business by leveraging Certis’ strength in technology within the Australian market.
Outside of working hours, Gerard loves spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys hobbies such as rugby which he played in his younger days, and working on vintage cars.
