Arriving Safely into the New Normal in Singapore

Enabling Essential International Travel Amidst COVID-19

6 August 2020

Essential international travel remains crucial amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Living with this new normal, Singapore needs to prevent imported cases from spreading to the community. Measures include a mandatory 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at designated isolation facilities for all returning residents and visitors to Singapore via land, sea or air. Certis ensures the arrival experience remains seamless and as pain-free as possible under such unprecedented circumstances.

Border control security operations and providing top notch customer service are not new to Certis. Our Aviation Security Officers, who secure the world’s best airport, were mobilised specifically for this assignment. Meeting people from all walks of life in their course of work, our officers fit the bill perfectly. We are proud to be entrusted by the authorities as the key security provider to ensuring safe and smooth transfers for those entering Singapore since April this year.

Our officers are tasked to escort and secure the safety of all entering Singapore throughout their transfer, from the point of disembarkation at the airport, seaports or checkpoints, through health screening stations and immigration, to their designated isolation facilities.

“As front-line ambassadors of Singapore and Changi Airport to the world, our Aviation Security Officers are trained to be highly adaptable and familiar with engaging with people from around the world. We will continue to stay focused on the task at hand, maintaining our high level of customer service standards as we continue to welcome citizens, residents and visitors to Singapore amidst COVID-19,” said Benny Lim, Senior Vice President and Head of Physical Security, Certis.
