As part of our cyber security outreach and awareness initiative, Certis CISCO partnered Investor Relations Professionals Association Singapore (IRPAS) to raise the level of cyber security awareness among business professionals.
Held on 4th December 2015 at SGX Auditorium, the theme of the event was “Cyber Security and Counter-Measures” where Mr. Edwin Lim, Vice President of Certis CISCO, gave an in-depth introduction of Cyber Security and its implications to the audience. This is especially important for the IRPAS members as more responsibility has been placed on the board of directors and top level C-suite of listed organisations to ensure their organisations are actively managing cyber threats.
To provide a legal perspective, Mr. Lionel Tan, Partner at Rajah and Tann, was also invited to share the legislative and legal implications of cyber security threats.
A lively panel discussion at the end of the seminar touched on best cyber security practices, and sharing of the Singapore Government’s experience and journey of raising the level of cyber security preparedness.
