In the spirit of giving this festive season, Certis presented $20,000 to MINDS this morning. Certis, a leading advanced integrated security services provider is an avid champion of causes that supports persons with disabilities and disadvantaged children.
Through the collective efforts of their employees in Singapore, Certis managed to raise $20,000 in half a day at their sports carnival on 15 November 2019. The carnival, called Certislympics was an employee-led event which had a community element tied to it. Several activities including a charity flea market and water dunking station were organised to raise funds for MINDS, the adopted charity for the event.
President and Group CEO, Certis, Paul Chong said, “Over the years, Certis has fostered a culture of volunteerism and giving in our organisation. We will continue to support charity organisations like MINDS so that we can help to build a more inclusive society for all. ”
Beneficiaries from MINDS Perform also put up a Taiko drum performance during the ceremony held at the SIA-MINDS Employment Development Centre in Margaret Drive.
