Our people are at the centre of what we do
Certis puts the needs of our people first and provides consistent and equitable support to enable them to be healthier and happier.
By thinking and designing for flexibility in all that we do, we pivoted employees' job roles, digitalised internal processes, adjusted work times, reviewed office layouts and implemented new methods to support and care.
Some of our initiatives include staggered work hours across deployment sites and the implementation of hybrid, hot-desking where employees can choose to work between different offices to enable them to work better.
Digital transformation to enhance employee experience
Certis actively develops and introduces technological innovations to help our employees work more efficiently and be regularly updated on corporate developments.
Allegro is our internal all-in-one digital platform to disseminate communications to all employees. The same platform also helps to facilitate administrative tasks including auto-approval of certain requests such as leave and claims. As a self-service platform, employees are able to efficiently facilitate many processes such as updating personal details, applying for employment pass replacements, anytime anywhere on their mobile phones.
A caring environment to help employees grow and thrive
To better take care of our employees' wellbeing, Certis rolled out virtual wellness programmes including sessions on mindfulness, yoga, breathing techniques, and pilates to enhance physical and mental performance while reducing stress and anxiety.
Mental wellness is critical and we ensure mental health resources are easily accessible. This includes a free six-month premium subscription to the mobile app Calm that leverages science to improve mental fitness, helping our employees facilitate better sleep, reduce stress and experience less anxiety so that they can have a happier and healthier lifestyle.
We also launched the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), a 24/7 hotline manned by trained mental health professionals who provide support for issues concerning work, family matters, and interpersonal relationships. The EAP offers a safe space for our staff to share their challenges and learn coping strategies which can provide timely support to employees that might need assistance.
