Key Responsibilities of an Enforcement Officer

Take an active role in keeping Singapore’s public spaces safe. As an Enforcement Officer at Certis, you will be empowered to conduct island-wide operations on motorcycle or foot patrol, taking action against illegal activities and making our community a better place. 

Conduct Patrols

  • Conduct regular patrols along public roads and designated areas to maintain public order

Attend to Public Feedback

  • Respond to public feedback, complaints or reports of illegal activities

Perform Compliance Checks

  • Perform checks on unlicensed operators and other unlawful activities

Guarding and Protection Services

Enforce Regulations

  • Enforce against illegal parking on public roads, car parks and restricted areas
  • Enforce rules against littering, smoking and other public health offenses

Yes, a valid Class 2B licence is a requirement for this role. If you do not currently hold one, you will need to obtain it before applying.

Certis’ Enforcement Officers work 12-hour shifts, with the option to choose either day or night shifts. The rotational schedule runs three consecutive work days followed by one day off, then four consecutive work days followed by one day off.

Enforcement Officers are deployed island-wide, covering public roads, HDB estates, commercial areas, and other public spaces across Singapore.

Enforcement Officers and Police Officers both play important roles in keeping Singapore safe, but their scope differs. Enforcement Officers focus on maintaining public order and enforcing specific regulations such as illegal parking, littering, and unlicensed activities.
