In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, it is imperative for all of us to be equipped with knowledge and skillsets for the new digital economy. The first of its kind for the security industry in Asia, the newly launched Certis Corporate University (CCU) will drive the development of our workforce by upskilling and reskilling Certis employees.
The launch event on 25 November was graced by guest-of-honour Singapore’s Minister for Education, Mr Ong Ye Kung. In his address, Mr Ong said that it was imperative to leverage technology and upgrade the skills of our workforce to raise the capability of the security industry.
Mr Ong was given a tour of the campus where he observed the programmes offered in CCU. From leadership development to improving digital literacy, he interacted with our employees at each station of the tour to understand how the programmes benefited them. Minister Ong also tried his hand at the virtual reality vehicle search training with the help of our trainers.
