At the annual PwC Budget Seminar held on 25 February 2019, Tan Toi Chia, Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Planning, Group Communications and Marketing, was one of the key panellists invited to speak alongside Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Education.
Themed “Caring and Sustained Growth – Securing Our Future”, the discussions revolved around the digital economy and the implications for the business community.
On the issue of tightening labour market, Toi Chia believed that is achievable by expanding capabilities and with the help of modern technology. He shared, “Certis has been growing despite these constraints because we have embraced technology and productivity for many years now.”
“Our approach of Security+ transforms how security outcomes are being delivered. We incorporated a much wider concept of operations that involve asset facility management and guest management. So I think for many other companies, they will, like us, continue to push the boundaries,” Toi Chia added.
