Starting a rewarding career path
Throughout her career in Certis, Hazirah was given opportunities to explore various pathways. In February 2023, she took on a new role in Group Risk, Compliance and Insurance, where she managed the Group Insurance portfolio and collaborates with teams across different departments. Being able to work with team members in various industries has expanded her professional network, and strengthened her adaptability, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Hazirah shares some apt advice for those looking to explore something new but find themselves hesitant to do so:

Ever ready to explore new opportunities, Hazirah moved on to a new role in February 2025 to Quality Excellence, where she drives innovation within the organisation and support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and overall effectiveness through the use of Design Thinking.
Wonderful support system
She credits her prior experiences for equipping her with transferable skills, from being meticulous to navigating complexities. Adjusting between roles was also made smoother with the support of colleagues, managers, and an open-minded approach to learning.
