All great innovators practice Design Thinking in their process and for Certis Security Australia this is no different. Design Thinking is centered around a deep interest in developing an understanding of the people for whom we are designing a product or service for. This methodology is vital to how Certis operates, with the customer in mind at all stages.
Recently team members from Aviation, Business Development, Operations and Learning – Kevin Arapa (left), Liza James (centre left), Jason Aquilina (centre right), Domenic Giardini (right) – completed a two day course in Singapore undertaking a Design Thinking training program with LUMA Institute. They were joined together with a team of Technology, Business Development and Solution focused Singapore members.
The program is transforming the way Certis Security Australia approaches problems and issues, through a human centered approach. It is a dynamic, interactive method to understanding the customer and key stakeholders by focusing on how humans experience our products and services, and how we can focus on ‘why’ clients choose Certis Security Australia not just on ‘what’ they receive from our products and services. The focus is about how they ‘feel’ and using this information to create an innovative solution.
