We did it again! Certis took home yet another accolade. This time, it\u2019s the award for Health & Wellness Initiative of the Year \u2013 Security<\/strong> at the recent Singapore Business Review (SBR) Management Excellence Awards 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held on 20 November at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the SBR honours visionary executives, innovators, and high-performing teams, as well as initiatives that champion diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and workplace well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Certis, employee well-being and safety form the foundation of our operations. We have a holistic framework that integrates mental, physical, and psychological wellness into everyday work practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key pillar of this framework is the Peer Support Leader Programme, developed in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board this year. Over 200 leaders across the group were trained under this programme to offer emotional and psychological support to colleagues. Using the HEART framework, which means Hold Space, Empathy, Active Listening, Resources, and Trust, these peer supporters foster a culture of openness and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Australia, we introduced an additional initiative to strengthen mental wellness: a Psychosocial Safety Assessment conducted by an external consultant. This assessment helps identify and address workplace psychosocial hazards that may affect employees\u2019 psychological health and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the physical safety front, we promote a Life Saving Rules & Safety Culture, guided by the CARS steps (Check, Adhere, Report, and Stop) to instil safe habits and prevent incidents. Certis Australia also launched the \u2018Certis 5\u2019 Initial Injury Response Programme, which equips managers to respond effectively within the first 5 minutes, 5 hours, and 5 days following a workplace injury. These measures have strengthened care and recovery outcomes across the group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
